Suhas Lalinakere Yathiraj was born on February 7, 1983, in Hassan, Karnataka. His parents are Yathiraj L K (who has passed away) and Jayashree C S. Suhas was born with a problem in his left ankle, which made it hard for him to move around. Even with this challenge, Suhas did very well in school. He graduated in 2004 with a degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Surathkal, Karnataka, with top marks.
Career in Civil Service
Suhas Yathiraj joined the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) in 2007 and was assigned to Uttar Pradesh. Over the years, he has worked in important roles, including being the District Magistrate of Gautam Buddha Nagar and Prayagraj. As of February 2023, he serves as the Secretary and Director General of Youth Welfare and Prantiya Rakshak Dal in Uttar Pradesh.
