Puja Khedkar was born on January 16, 1990, in Ahmednagar, Maharashtra. She comes from a family involved in government and politics. Her father, Dilip Khedkar, is a retired officer and politician. Her mother, Manorama Khedkar, is the head of a village in Maharashtra. Puja finished her M.B.B.S degree from Maharashtra University of Health Sciences in Nashik.
Career
Puja Khedkar started her career in the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) after passing the Civil Services Examination in 2022 with an all-India rank of 841. She was first posted as an Additional Collector in Pune and later moved to Washim district for training. Before joining the IAS, she worked as an Assistant Director at the Sports Authority of India and as an IRS officer in 2019.
